DES MOINES, Iowa — Former Iowa Republican Rep. Brad Sherman has launched his campaign for next year’s gubernatorial primary.

Sherman, a pastor and businessman, served one term in the Iowa House from 2023 to 2025, representing Williamsburg. He said his campaign will focus on defending the rights of Iowans.

He is scheduled to host a campaign launch event Saturday in Mason City.
