BRAD SHERMAN SHOWS STRONG SUPPORT IN EARLY PUBLIC PRIMARY POLL
Brad Sherman Earns 59% in Iowa Republican Gubernatorial Poll
Williamsburg, Iowa: Brad Sherman, the only declared Republican candidate for Iowa Governor, is gaining momentum by traveling across the state and talking to Iowans. Brad Sherman, a businessman, pastor, and political activist, spent one term in the Iowa Statehouse representing District 91. In a recent public poll by the Iowa Standard, the Sherman campaign performed significantly above challengers. The Iowa Standard covers politics from a conservative point of view and has a following of over 46,000.
The poll, originally posted on May 16, quickly showed Sherman’s strong support statewide. As of Thursday, May 22, the poll has just shy of 1,100 votes by statewide Republican voters, with Brad Sherman receiving 59% (638 votes), Brenna Bird with 22% (231 votes), Randy Feenstra with 5% (65 votes), and Somebody Else with 14% (162 votes).
“Iowans want an outsider as Governor,” said Sherman. “In the poll, it is obvious that Iowans are ready for a change. My potential opponents have served in office for years and have even been financially supported by those trying to infringe on our private property rights.”
The Sherman campaign has now visited 22 counties, hearing directly from voters and having real conversations. This is the simple strategy of the Sherman Team, and according to the Iowa Standard poll, this strategy is working well.
Sherman is running on the platform of Restoring the Foundations of Freedom, which his website states has been his heartbeat for more than 4 decades. Those foundations include defending property rights against eminent domain abuse, lowering property taxes, improving education, and more.
