Sam Clovis is a retired U.S. Air Force officer, former college professor, and conservative political figure. He served as a senior adviser and national co-chair for Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and later worked as a senior adviser at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
ENDORSEMENT
I generally do not endorse candidates for public office, particularly if they will be involved in a primary race. I am taking exception to my own rules as I want to commend to this audience Brad Sherman from Williamsburg for Governor of the State of Iowa. Brad is a former state legislator and is my pastor of record. He and I have had a wonderful relationship from the time I ran for the United States Senate.
Good, consistent and committed conservatives are hard to find. Usually such individuals appeal to a strong activist base, but money is the mother’s milk of politics, and conservatives have a hard time raising money, particularly in a state where a political machine runs things. This is why getting on board with Brad is so important.
Brad Sherman is pro-life and pro traditional marriage. He is a strong fiscal conservative and will be offering great ideas on tax reform for ALL Iowans. He supports parental involvement in all areas related to children and is opposed to the exploitation of our children through dogma and propaganda. He supports girls and women participating in sports without having to worry about men being allowed in their locker rooms.
Brad and his lovely bride Carole are the cornerstones of a great family. They are devoted to each other and have served a congregation in the Iowa City area for many years. They are Evangelical Christians who model sound Christian principles in everything they do.
Iowa needs to break away from machine politics and seek out a servant leader. Brad Sherman is just the man to radically reform the Iowa political landscape. His clear-headed common sense is needed now more than ever as the state and the country face incredible challenges.
