Brad Sherman

with his wife Carole, have devoted themselves to over four decades of pastoral leadership and church ministry in Iowa.  Brad began ministry and leadership training in 1975, was ordained in 1979, and has faithfully served in spiritual and community leadership.

Beyond his ministry work, Brad has extensive professional experience in heavy equipment operation and mechanics, commercial and residential construction, real estate development, and nonprofit leadership. He played a key role in forming various pro-life organizations and was a co-founder of Informed Choices Medical Clinics, where he served as president and board chair for ten years. Additionally, Brad has authored articles and books on biblical topics and conducted biblical worldview seminars across the Midwest, emphasizing America’s founding principles.

Active in civic engagement, Brad has been deeply involved in the Republican Party of Iowa. Having served as a county and state delegate numerous times, he has also served as a county chair and convention leader. In 2024, Brad served as a delegate to the Republican National Convention and was a member of the National Platform Committee. This dedication to public service was further demonstrated in his tenure as an Iowa State Representative in the 90th General Assembly.

In his free time, Brad enjoys deer hunting, competitive shooting, and is a hobby machinist. He has been married to Carole since 1975 and they are proud parents of four children and have thirteen grandchildren.
