Brad Sherman
is your Republican Candidate running to be the next Governor of the State of Iowa! Brad Sherman and his wife Carole, have devoted themselves to over four decades of pastoral and church ministry in Iowa.
Beyond his ministry work, Brad has professional experience in heavy equipment operation and mechanics, commercial and residential construction, real estate development, and nonprofit leadership. He played a key role in forming various pro-life organizations and was a co-founder of Informed Choices Medical Clinics, where he served as president and board chair for ten years. Additionally, Brad has authored articles and books on biblical topics and conducted biblical worldview seminars across the Midwest, emphasizing America’s founding principles.
Besides having served as a State Representative in Des Moines, Brad has been active in civic engagement for many years. He has been involved in the Republican Party of Iowa serving as a County Chair and as a delegate to various conventions. In 2024, Brad served as a delegate to the Republican National Convention and was a member of the National Platform Committee.
Brad is a political outsider and a true conservative who will not be bought by big money or special interests. His heartbeat is to restore the constitutional and patriotic foundations of freedom that have been dangerously undermined. His vision is to see the next generation equipped to stand strong and preserve the liberties we hold dear.
In his free time, Brad enjoys deer hunting, competitive shooting, and is a hobby machinist. He has been married to Carole since 1975, and they are proud parents of four children and have thirteen grandchildren.
